LEADERSHIP APPLICATION
Looking for more than just a studio position? Our awesome leadership positions need awesome people. Unless noted these positions are open to any new or returning member and include:
Studio Leads (must be returning member)
INTERNAL ROLE
Design research, story telling, visual design, prototyping & technology, Finance & Business.
EXTERNAL ROLE
Report to faculty advisors, work with OUTREACH on community partners & funding sources.
Project Leads (New position)
INTERNAL ROLE
Guide the project teams through the human-centered design process, work with rest of leadership team to develop agenda, keep the team on schedule throughout the semester.
EXTERNAL ROLE
Work with OUTREACH team on community partners & testing, build relationships with community partners & mentors.
Media Control & Marketing Team Lead
INTERNAL ROLE
Organize/document process and cover media content, manage social media, work with EVENT team on event promotion.
EXTERNAL ROLE
Content publishing & event promotion, work with EVENT team on expo, showcase, etc.
Event Team Lead
INTERNAL ROLE
Location reservations & event planning, Internal Communication with DFA’s charter members.
EXTERNAL ROLE
Work with MEDIA & MARKETING on event promotion.
Outreach Team Lead
INTERNAL ROLE
Work with PROJECT TEAM to find community partner(s) and potential funding sources.
EXTERNAL ROLE
Communicate with community partner, funding sources, users, and other TXST Departments.
Member & Team Management Team Lead
INTERNAL ROLE
Manage website, blogs, applications, roster, and member contact info, Manage TXST DFA email address & Slack channel.
EXTERNAL ROLE
Recruitment, manage info email account, answer questions related to membership.
