Our National Project team, who’s been working on the DFA National Project for the past few months, was one of five teams selected to present their project in Cincinnati, OH.
Our National Team has been working with community stakeholders on finding ways to reduce plastic film waste, and looking for a better way to dispose/recycle plastic film. They will be presenting their work to DFA National and the Flexible Film Recycling Group (FFRG). FFRG works with a number of companies, including Procter & Gamble (P&G), a multinational consumer goods organization, to think specifically about reducing plastic film waste in their products. Their work, for example, contributes towards Procter & Gamble’s pledge to transition to 100% recyclable or reusable packaging by 2030.
